A complete life-size female pelvis model of synthetic bone-like material with a highly detailed pelvic floor made of flexible plastic. The dissectible pelvic floor in carefully coloured flexible material comprises the genitalia and associated muscles. The superior view shows the pelvic floor formed by the pubococcygeus, illiococcygeus and coccygeus muscles supported partially by the internal obturator muscles.
The external genitalia are accompanied by the bulbocavernosus, ischiocavernosus and superficial transverse perineal muscles. Posterior to the central point of the perineum the external anal sphincter converges on to the coccyx. On one side the vestibular bulb and Bartholins gland are visible and part of the inferior fascia has been removed to show a section of the deep transverse perineal muscle.
